When Fujitsu America needed to update its product manuals for its tablet and notebook computers, the company turned to VerbFactory.

“A lot of our materials were created by teams in Europe and Asia, so they needed to be updated for U.S. markets,” says Bruce Hawkins, Interactive Program Manager at Fujitsu America. “VerbFactory came in and edited the text and also made graphic updates to get them ready for the North American market. They were able to pick up a lot of potential discrepancies, such as the use of ‘mains adapter’ instead of power supply, as well as illustrations that showed European wall outlets rather than standard American three-prong outlets. A lot of the changes were subtle, but VerbFactory nailed all of them down to the last inch (as opposed to millimeter)!”

Hawkins notes that not only was the work done right, but that VerbFactory was very responsive to the needs of Fujitsu.

“We needed a set of cards with product bar codes turned around in less than two days, and their design team totally came through for us. It was a complex project – we needed different versions for Canada and the US – and it got done perfectly. What else do you want?”

A start-up email security company turned to VerbFactory to get its hardware product in front of the right decision makers

Sendio developed one of the first hardware-based approaches to fighting spam, and remains a pioneer in messaging security. Company founder Tal Golan needed a way to break into a competitive market dominated by software solutions, and chose VerbFactory to help the company move the needle. “When we started working with VerbFactory there were only three people at Sendio, and they were a key part of our growth as we raised over $9 million in funding and developed our scalable business model. Not only did they help us build our collateral, create a new web site and refine of corporate messaging, but VerbFactory was very aggressive at getting us relevant media coverage.

“Our executives had over 25 interviews at our first major trade show, InterOp, which was great for helping build our market presence. We also got coverage in Dow Jones and other top business media, but the most important achievement was being named product of the year by Government Computer News. VerbFactory did all of the legwork, including shipping products to their editors for testing, and the results were incredible for an early-stage company. Working with them was a great experience for me personally, as well as for the company.”

A South Africa-based medical technology start-up turned to VerbFactory to define its core messages, develop investor presentations and web content.

Bruce Forgrieve, CEO of HealthTech Express says that, “I’ve worked with VerbFactory with my previous companies and organizations, and they were my first choice when we started this business. Not only are they very easy to work with, but I know I don’t need to worry about missed deadlines or quality control issues. They really got our business model in a few minutes and were able to help us define our target customers and create messaging that would resonate with them. Not a lot of agencies could do that.”

VerbFactory worked with Forgrieve to draft the company’s initial investor deck and then wrote all of HealthTech Express’s web content in less than a week.

“We had to get our site up very quickly, and VerbFactory exceeded our expectations,” Forgrieve says.

As an early stage startup, Roostify was at the early stage of creating its brand identity. Roostify engaged VerbFactory to assist it in defining and positioning its brand and then bringing the brand to bear in its general website and marketing collateral.

“We had spent a year building our product, were finally bringing on customers, and had done no marketing whatsoever,” says Rajesh Bhat, co-founder and CEO of Roostify. “VerbFactory helped us to develop our branding architecture and provided copy that we leveraged in our marketing website and brochures. With strong experience in our domain and ability to operate as nimbly and urgently as a startup, including  their 24/7 availability, VerbFactory ‘got us.’ We have really enjoyed working with them.”
